Oswald is a heritage Swiss brand specialized in high-quality seasonings, bouillons, and sauces. Founded in 1951 by Meinrad Oswald, the brand established itself through a direct-to-consumer sales model that remains a core part of its identity today.

The vegetable bouillon shown here is manufactured in Switzerland, specifically at their production facility in Steinhausen, Canton of Zug. Since 2000, Oswald has been part of the French family-owned group Unilever’s portfolio in a unique way, as it was acquired by the consumer goods giant while maintaining its distinct Swiss production and direct distribution channels. However, the ultimate ownership is under the global conglomerate Unilever, which continues to position Oswald as a premium Swiss specialty brand.
