Wenger is a historic brand originally established in the Delémont region of Switzerland. For over a century, it was famously known as one of the two original makers of the Swiss Army Knife. Following financial challenges in the early 2000s, Wenger was acquired by its long-time rival Victorinox in 2005.

Today, while Victorinox has integrated Wenger's knife business into its own brand, Wenger continues to exist as a distinct entity focusing on high-quality travel gear, backpacks, and watches. While the brand carries the 'Swiss' heritage and design philosophy, the manufacturing of its textile products, including laptop bags and backpacks, is primarily outsourced to specialized facilities in China and other Asian manufacturing hubs to ensure global competitiveness.
