Chicco baby products

Chicco is one of the world's most recognized brands specializing in products for infants and children, ranging from strollers and car seats to breastfeeding supplies and toys. Founded in Italy in 1958, the brand was created by Pietro Catelli, an inventor who named the company after his first son, Enrico (nicknamed Chicco).

Manufacturing takes place across several global locations to meet international demand, with primary production occurring in Italy for high-end gear and various facilities in China and Romania for other components and accessories. The brand has maintained its identity as a leader in pediatric health and safety research through its specialized Research Center.

Since its inception, Chicco has remained under the ownership of Artsana Group. In 2016, the investment firm Investindustrial acquired a majority stake in Artsana S.p.A., though the Catelli family remains involved. The company continues to operate from its historic headquarters in Grandate, Italy, distributing its extensive product lines to over 120 countries.
