Discofoon - Hollandse Popgroepen 2 vinyl record

Hollandse Popgroepen 2 is a compilation vinyl record released under the Discofoon label, which was the in-house budget record label for the Dutch retail chain Vroom & Dreesmann (V&D). The album features various Dutch pop and rock groups from the 1960s and 1970s, such as Q65, BZN, and George Baker Selection. These records were typically manufactured in the Netherlands to provide affordable music options to the Dutch market through V&D department stores.

While the Discofoon brand was originally owned by Vroom & Dreesmann, the retail giant famously went bankrupt in 2015. The rights to the 'V&D' brand name were later acquired by retail entrepreneurs Ronald van Zetten, Roland Kahn, and Jaco Scheffers, who transitioned it into an e-commerce platform.
