Starting in 2026, the brand continues to be part of the Suntory Beverage & Food portfolio. While the brand has British origins and is predominantly manufactured in the UK (particularly at the Coleford factory in Gloucestershire), its ownership transitioned from GlaxoSmithKline to the Japanese multinational Suntory Group in 2013 for £1.35 billion. Today, Lucozade Alert is a specific line extension focusing on high-caffeine stimulation, maintaining its status as a household name in the sports and energy drink category across Europe and beyond.
