Balay is a historic Spanish home appliance brand founded in Zaragoza in 1947. Originally an independent company, it specialized in the manufacturing of electrical household appliances. Since the late 1980s, Balay has been part of the BSH Hausgeräte Group, a global leader in the home appliance industry.

Today, Balay maintains a strong manufacturing presence in Spain, particularly with its large production facilities in Zaragoza and Santander. As part of the BSH group (which is now wholly owned by Robert Bosch GmbH), Balay leverages German engineering through its ultimate ownership while retaining its Spanish cultural identity and local production roots.
