Sterling Dual Cigarettes

Sterling is a major brand of cigarettes primarily sold in the United Kingdom. Originally launched in the mid-20th century as a premium brand, it was later repositioned as a value or 'budget' brand in the 1990s and has since become one of the best-selling cigarette brands in the UK.

Manufacturing of Sterling cigarettes occurs in various locations globally, often dictated by regional distribution and logistical efficiency, though much of the supply for the European market historically stems from facilities in Germany or Poland.

The brand is currently owned by JTI (Japan Tobacco International), a global tobacco company headquartered in Switzerland, which itself is a subsidiary of Japan Tobacco Inc. JTI acquired the brand through its purchase of Gallaher Group in 2007, a deal that significantly expanded JTI's presence in the Western European market.
