Stimorol is a legendary chewing gum brand that originated in Denmark in 1956, launched by the company Dandy (originally founded in 1915 by Holger Sørensen). For decades, it was the leading gum brand in Scandinavia before expanding throughout Europe. The brand became famous for its long-lasting flavor and sugar-free innovations, particularly during the 1970s and 80s.

Ownership of the brand has changed hands several times through major industry consolidations. In 2002, it was acquired by Cadbury-Schweppes, which later became part of Kraft Foods and eventually Mondelēz International. However, in late 2023, Mondelēz sold its developed-market gum business—including Stimorol—to the Italian-Dutch confectionery giant Perfetti Van Melle. Today, Stimorol is part of a global portfolio that includes brands like Mentos and Chupa Chups. While its roots remain Danish, the manufacturing for the European market is now largely concentrated in modern facilities such as the Skarbimierz plant in Poland.
