Because it is a retail private label, its products, including stainless steel and aluminum water bottles, are manufactured across a global supply chain, typically involving specialized manufacturing hubs in Asia.

As of recent corporate restructuring, the brand is ultimately owned by JD Sports Fashion PLC, a British multinational corporation. JD Sports acquired full control of the Iberian Sports Retail Group, integrating Boriken into its broader portfolio of sports and outdoor brands. In the local market, it continues to be distributed through Sprinter and Sport Zone stores.
