FREUDWERK is a boutique design studio and workshop based in the South Black Forest region of Germany. Founded in 2014 by Matthias Scherzinger, the brand specializes in high-quality wooden objects, furniture, and kitchen accessories that bridge the gap between traditional craftsmanship and modern industrial design.

Every piece is manufactured in small batches or as individual commissions at the brand's own workshop in Glottertal or Reute, Germany. The brand places a heavy emphasis on sustainability, sourcing solid wood from the local surrounding areas or certified sustainable forestry to ensure a minimal environmental footprint. Its products are characterized by a 'Black Forest Handmade' aesthetic, focusing on the natural textures of the wood and long-lasting durability.
