Roshen Milky Splash toffee

Roshen Milky Splash is a well-known brand of soft creamy toffee with a milk filling. The brand belongs to the Roshen Confectionery Corporation, one of the largest confectionery manufacturers in the world.

Roshen was founded in 1996 by Petro Poroshenko, a prominent Ukrainian businessman and former President of Ukraine. The company's name was created by taking the middle part of his surname (Po-Roshen-ko). The corporation consists of several major production facilities. While primarily based in Ukraine with factories in Kyiv, Vinnytsia, and Kremenchuk, the company also operates international facilities including the Klaipėda Confectionery Factory in Lithuania and the Bonbonetti Choco factory in Budapest, Hungary.

Ownership of the company remains within the Poroshenko family. In 2016, to avoid conflicts of interest during his presidency, Petro Poroshenko transferred his shares to an independent blind trust managed by Rothschild Trust. In 2019, following his presidential term, a significant portion of the ownership was transferred to his eldest son, Oleksii Poroshenko, who serves as the ultimate beneficiary of the Central European Confectionery Company, the parent entity of the Roshen group.
