Rörstrand Eden Mug

The Eden pattern is one of the most iconic designs from the historic Swedish ceramic house, Rörstrand. Originally created in 1960 by the German painter and designer Sigrid Richter, the pattern features a distinctive stylized apple cut in half, rendered in vibrant blues and greens. This design was so beloved that it was brought back into production as part of Rörstrand's 290th-anniversary celebrations.

Historically, Rörstrand products were manufactured exclusively in Sweden. However, following the brand's acquisition by the Fiskars Group, much of the ceramic production for the brand’s everyday ranges has been moved to specialized facilities in countries like Indonesia, though design and quality control remain rooted in Nordic standards. Today, Rörstrand stands as a premier brand under the Finnish Fiskars Group, representing a blend of mid-century modern aesthetics and contemporary functionality.
