Lipton Intense Mint Green Tea

Lipton is one of the world's most recognizable tea brands. Originally founded in Glasgow, Scotland, by Sir Thomas Lipton in the late 19th century, the brand revolutionized how tea was sold by making it more accessible and introducing standardized packaging. For much of its history, Lipton was a flagship brand of the multinational consumer goods company Unilever.

In recent years, the brand underwent a significant corporate shift. Following a strategic review of its tea business, Unilever spun off the majority of its tea portfolio into a standalone entity initially called Ekaterra. In 2022, Ekaterra was acquired by CVC Capital Partners, which now manages the brand through the company known as Liptea. While the brand has British origins, its production is highly globalized, with sourcing and manufacturing taking place in numerous countries, including major facilities in the United Kingdom, Belgium, and near tea plantations in regions like Kenya and India.
