The product is primarily manufactured in the Netherlands, maintaining its long-standing heritage. Over the years, the brand transitioned from a family-owned business to being part of larger corporate entities. In the late 20th century, it was acquired by CSM and later by Heinz. Today, it is owned by the Kraft Heinz Company, one of the world's largest food and beverage organizations, following the high-profile merger of Kraft and Heinz in 2015.
