Biko

Biko is a beloved Filipino rice cake traditionally made from glutinous rice, coconut milk, and brown sugar. It is a staple delicacy (kakanin) in the Philippines, often served during special occasions, festivals, and family gatherings. While many local bakeries and food manufacturing companies produce packaged versions, the product remains deeply rooted in Filipino culinary heritage.

The dish is characterized by its sticky texture and the topping of latik (charred coconut milk curds) or a caramelized coconut syrup.
