While the brand originated in Hamburg, Germany, its ownership and headquarters moved to Denmark in the 1970s. Since 1999, the brand has been under the ownership of the Danish conglomerate Thornico Group, which has helped expand its presence into fashion, lifestyle, and professional sports sponsorships worldwide.
