Švyturys Ventės Beer

Švyturys is one of Lithuania's oldest and most prestigious brewing brands, with a history dating back to 1784 when the brewery was founded by Johann Wilhelm Reincke in Klaipėda. The Ventės variety is a specific lager in their portfolio, celebrating the maritime heritage of the Lithuanian coast, specifically the Ventė Cape region.

Today, the brand is a centerpiece of the Lithuanian beer market. While it retains its deep local roots and historical production facilities in Klaipėda, the ownership has transitioned to an international scale. It is currently owned by the Carlsberg Group, a Danish multinational brewing giant. This partnership allows Švyturys to distribute its Baltic-style brews globally while maintaining specialized production in Lithuania under the Švyturys-Utenos Alus joint venture.
