Fatina Chocolate-Covered Cherries

Fatina is a historic Italian brand specializing in dried fruits and chocolate-covered treats. These cherries, coated in extra dark chocolate, are a classic example of their confectionery line.

The brand was founded in 1944 in Naples by Michele Murano. Over the decades, the company, Murano S.p.A., expanded its operations, establishing a significant production facility in Pomigliano d'Arco for nut roasting and another in Agropoli focused on regional specialties like Cilento figs and chocolate-dipped fruits.

In 2022, Fatina was officially recognized by the Italian Ministry of Economic Development as a 'Historic Brand of National Interest,' a title reserved for brands that have been active for at least 50 years and represent Italian industrial excellence. Today, the brand remains under the ownership of the founding Murano family through Murano S.p.A., continuing its tradition of high-quality artisanal production using modern technologies.
