Llet Nostra whole milk

Llet Nostra is a prominent dairy brand from Catalonia, Spain, established in 2003 as a response to major dairy distributors ceasing purchases from local Catalan farmers. It was founded as a second-tier cooperative to allow small and medium-sized family farms to market their milk directly to consumers under a fair-price model. The brand is currently managed by Llet Nostra Alimentària, S.L., with ownership shared among several Catalan cooperatives, primarily Cooperativa Lletera del Cadí and Ramaders del Baix Empordà.

While the milk is sourced exclusively from approximately 140 family-owned farms across Catalonia to ensure proximity and quality, the processing and packaging are often handled through strategic partnerships. Notably, since 2018, much of the production has been bottled at the Pascual plant in Gurb (Barcelona) under a dedicated agreement, while maintaining separate production lines to preserve the brand's local identity and animal welfare standards.
