Initially established to provide high-quality audio gear at affordable prices, the brand became famous for its 'Value-for-Money' philosophy, which disrupted the professional audio market.

Today, the brand is owned by Music Tribe, a multi-national holding company based in the Philippines. To maintain competitive pricing, Behringer operates a massive, purpose-built manufacturing facility known as 'Behringer City' located in Zhongshan, China. This vertically integrated factory allows the company to control almost every aspect of production, from electronic components to final assembly, ensuring global distribution of their wide range of amplifiers, mixers, and synthesizers.
