Nadler is a traditional German brand specialized in chilled delicatessen and fish products. Originally founded in Bremen, the company moved its headquarters to Bottrop. Over the decades, Nadler established itself as a market leader in Germany for ready-to-eat herring salads and spreads.

In 2009, Nadler became part of the Homann Food Group, which was eventually acquired by the Müller Group (Unternehmensgruppe Theo Müller). However, following a series of strategic realignments, the Nadler brand and its production facilities were sold in 2021 to the Signature Foods Group. Consequently, the ultimate owner is now the Signature Foods group, a leading European player in chilled convenience food based in the Netherlands.
