The brand was originally established by OTA A/S in Nakskov, Denmark. Today, the brand is owned by the multinational food giant PepsiCo, following their acquisition of The Quaker Oats Company. Despite the global ownership, Havregryn Solgryn remains deeply rooted in Danish food culture and is primarily manufactured in Denmark to serve the local market.
