Marabou Paradis is an iconic Swedish chocolate box introduced in 1957 as a sister box to the classic Aladdin collection, focusing on milk and white chocolate pralines. Originally founded in Sweden by the Norwegian chocolatier Johan Throne Holst, the Marabou brand became a household name and an integral part of Swedish holiday traditions. Today, it is manufactured in the Marabou factory located in Upplands Väsby, Sweden. The brand is currently owned by Mondelēz International, a global snack food conglomerate headquartered in the United States, which acquired the brand through its purchase of Kraft Foods. Mondelēz manages the brand’s distribution and marketing across the Nordic region through its local subsidiary.
