All Glarner Schabziger products are produced exclusively in the Canton of Glarus, Switzerland, by the Geska AG company. The production process involves using skimmed cow's milk and a specific high-altitude herb called blue fenugreek, which gives the product its unique green color and pungent aroma.

Since 2014, Geska AG has been owned by the Glarus-based entrepreneurs Rudolf and Reto Hösli. The brand remains a point of regional pride, maintaining its 'Suisse Garantie' status which ensures that the raw materials are sourced and processed within Switzerland.
