Toms Yankie Bar Mandel

Yankie Bar is a classic Danish chocolate bar created by Toms International. It was launched in 1946, inspired by the American candy bars that soldiers brought to Denmark after World War II. The original bar consists of a soft cocoa nougat and caramel covered in milk chocolate. The 'Mandel' version adds almonds to this classic recipe. For decades, it has been one of the most popular candy bars in Denmark. The production originally took place in Denmark and continues to be managed by Toms Gruppen, which remains a Danish-owned company headquartered in Ballerup, near Copenhagen. Toms is the largest confectionery producer in Denmark and has expanded significantly through acquisitions while maintaining its status as a cornerstone of Danish food culture.
