Pastiglie Leone is a prestigious Italian confectionery brand with a heritage dating back to 1857. Founded by Luigi Leone in Neive, near Alba, the company quickly became a favorite of the Italian Royal House of Savoy and relocated to Turin to meet increasing demand. The product shown is the Raspberry (Lampone) flavor, part of their iconic 'Pastiglie' line, which is characterized by its small, intense, and naturally flavored sugar lozenges.

The manufacturing process remains deeply traditional, with the candies being produced at the company's modern facility in Collegno, Italy, just outside of Turin. They still use traditional bronze molds to shape their sweets, maintaining the artisanal quality that has defined the brand for over 160 years.

Ownership of the brand has transitioned through several hands while remaining rooted in Italian entrepreneurship. After being managed by the Monero family for several decades starting in 1934, the brand was acquired in 2018 by Luca Barilla (of the Barilla Group family) and his wife Michela Petronio. Under their leadership, the brand has focused on international expansion and the creation of a new 'Factory of Happiness' experiential production site in Italy, scheduled for full operation around 2025-2026.
