Caotina is a premium Swiss chocolate drink brand that has become a cultural icon since its introduction in 1963. Invented by Wander AG in the heart of the Swiss Alps, specifically in Neuenegg near Bern, the product was designed to satisfy a demand for high-quality, nutritious chocolate beverages. It is famous for containing real Swiss chocolate, which gives it a distinctively rich and smooth flavor compared to standard cocoa powders.

Today, Caotina is manufactured exclusively at the Wander AG facility in Neuenegg, Switzerland. This site serves as the production hub for the entire European market and beyond, exporting to over 50 countries. The brand offers several varieties, including Original, Blanc (white chocolate), and Noir (dark chocolate), and has expanded its portfolio to include chocolate spreads and ready-to-drink options.

Since 2002, the brand has been under the ultimate ownership of Associated British Foods (ABF), a British multinational food processing and retail company. ABF acquired Wander AG from the Swiss company Sandoz (now part of Novartis), integrating it into its global grocery division. Despite its international ownership, Caotina maintains its strong Swiss identity and continues to be marketed as a 'Swiss Made' premium product.
