The water undergoes a natural filtration process through underground rock layers for up to 15 years before being bottled at the source to preserve its natural mineral composition and signature 'sweet' taste.

The brand is owned by The Coca-Cola Company and is managed locally by Coca-Cola South Africa. Since its acquisition and expansion, Valpré has become one of South Africa's leading bottled water brands. It gained international recognition in 2011 when it was awarded a Gold Quality label by Monde Selection in Belgium.
