Fürst Bismarck Natural Mineral Water

Fürst Bismarck is a historic German mineral water brand that traces its origins back to 1906. Legend has it that the source, located in the Sachsenwald forest near Aumühle, was discovered by Otto von Bismarck himself during a walk in 1891. Commercial bottling began in the early 20th century, and the brand has since become a staple in Northern Germany.

Historically, the brand was part of Rhenser Mineralbrunnen, which was acquired by Nestlé in 1974. In 2017, as part of a strategic shift to focus on international premium brands like Perrier and S.Pellegrino, Nestlé sold the brand to the German company Hansa-Heemann AG. Most recently, in 2021, Hansa-Heemann was acquired by the Dutch bottling giant Refresco Group. Today, the water continues to be sourced and bottled at the original site in Reinbek/Aumühle, Germany, maintaining its regional heritage while being under the stewardship of a major international beverage conglomerate.
