Precor fitness equipment

Precor is a globally recognized leader in the design and manufacture of premium fitness equipment. Founded in 1980 in Woodinville, Washington, the company pioneered several industry-changing innovations, including the world's first ergonomic rowing machine and the first elliptical fitness crosstrainer (EFX).

Historically, Precor was owned by the Finnish sporting goods conglomerate Amer Sports for nearly two decades. However, in early 2021, the brand was acquired by Peloton Interactive, Inc. as part of a strategic move to expand Peloton's manufacturing footprint and commercial presence. Today, Precor operates as a dedicated commercial business unit within Peloton. Manufacturing is primarily focused in the United States, with major facilities in Woodinville, Washington, and Whitsett, North Carolina, though components and select lines may involve global supply chains.
