Locoid is a renowned topical corticosteroid brand used for treating various inflammatory skin conditions. The brand was originally developed by the Dutch pharmaceutical company Gist-Brocades, which was later acquired.

Today, the brand is owned by LEO Pharma, a global leader in medical dermatology. Manufacturing for the European market, including Sweden, frequently takes place at specialized pharmaceutical sites such as the LEO Pharma facility in Segrate, Italy. Ownership has stayed within Europe, moving from Dutch origins to the Danish-based LEO Pharma, which is controlled by the LEO Foundation.
