Bentley Motors is a preeminent British luxury automotive brand with a history spanning over a century. Founded in 1919 by W.O. Manufacturing remains centered at the historic Pyms Lane factory in Crewe, England, which has been the home of Bentley since 1946. While the final hand-finishing and major assembly of models like the Continental GT and Flying Spur occur in Crewe, the brand utilizes the global footprint of the Volkswagen Group for certain components. For instance, body shells for the Bentayga SUV are manufactured at the Volkswagen plant in Bratislava, Slovakia, and some assembly support for specific models has historically occurred in Dresden, Germany. Under its 'Beyond100+' strategy, the brand is currently transitioning toward a fully electric future, with significant investments being made to modernize its UK headquarters into a carbon-neutral 'Dream Factory'.
