Dale of Norway is a legendary Norwegian textile brand founded in 1879 by Peter Jebsen in the village of Dale. The company is one of the few remaining textile manufacturers that still maintains its primary production facilities in Norway. While the intricate knitting process takes place at the historic factory in Dalekvam (near Bergen) using sustainable Norwegian wool and hydropower, the assembly and stitching of some knitted panels are conducted at the company's own facility in Poland (Wool Group Poland) to ensure high-quality craftsmanship at a larger scale.

Since 1956, the brand has been the official outfitter for the Norwegian National Ski Team, creating iconic designs that have become global symbols of Nordic heritage. In 2018, the brand was acquired by the Rossignol Group, a French winter sports leader owned by the Nordic private equity firm Altor. Despite this change in ownership, the brand continues to operate from its historic headquarters, emphasizing its deep-rooted Norwegian identity and commitment to traditional knitting techniques.
