Iberogast Classic oral liquid

Iberogast is a well-known herbal medicine used primarily for the treatment of functional gastrointestinal disorders like irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and functional dyspepsia. The brand was originally developed in Germany by the company Steigerwald Arzneimittelwerk GmbH in 1960. It consists of a unique combination of nine medicinal plant extracts, including bitter candytuft, chamomile flower, and peppermint leaf.

In 2013, the brand underwent a significant ownership change when it was acquired by the German pharmaceutical giant Bayer AG as part of its acquisition of Steigerwald. Today, Iberogast is manufactured in Germany and remains one of Bayer's key products in its consumer health portfolio, distributed globally to provide relief for symptoms such as bloating, abdominal pain, and nausea.
