Harley Benton is the house brand of Musikhaus Thomann, a major German music retailer based in Treppendorf, Bavaria. Since its inception in 1997, the brand has been designed to offer budget-friendly musical instruments and gear by sourcing products directly from major original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).

While the brand is entirely German-owned and its products are extensively quality-checked in Germany, the actual manufacturing takes place in various factories across East and Southeast Asia. Lower-end models are typically built in China, while mid-to-high tier products, such as those in the Fusion or Pro Series, are often produced in Indonesia or Vietnam by specialized instrument manufacturers like Cor-Tek.
