Zalo dishwashing liquid

Zalo is an iconic Norwegian brand of dishwashing detergent that has served as the market leader in Norway for decades. The brand was first introduced in 1951 by the company Lilleborg under the name 'Salo', which was changed to 'Zalo' just a year later in 1952.

Historically, the product was manufactured at Lilleborg's factories in Oslo; however, in recent years, production for many household brands under the Orkla umbrella has been centralized. While the brand is deeply rooted in Norwegian heritage and market culture, it is now part of a larger international conglomerate. Zalo continues to be the primary household name for manual dishwashing in its home country, recognized by its distinctive green color and long-standing slogan 'En dråpe er nok' (One drop is enough).
