Wasa Husman

Wasa Husman is one of Sweden's most iconic crispbreads (knäckebröd), baked using whole grain rye.

The Wasa brand was founded in 1919 in Skellefteå, Sweden, originally known as AB Skellefteå Spisbrödsfabrik before moving to Filipstad and adopting the name Wasabröd. In 1999, the brand was acquired by the Italian multinational food giant Barilla Group.

Today, Wasa crispbread for the Nordic market is primarily baked at the historic bakery in Filipstad, Sweden, alongside secondary production facilities in Celle, Germany.
