Segafredo Zanetti was founded in 1973 in Bologna, Italy, by Massimo Zanetti following his acquisition of the local Segafredo roasting business. Over the ensuing decades, it expanded globally into the Massimo Zanetti Beverage Group (MZB Group). The company maintains complete control over the entire production cycle, managing everything from green bean procurement and blending to roasting and international distribution.
