The Filippo Berio brand is produced by Salov S.p.A., an Italian olive oil company founded in 1919 by Filippo Berio's daughter and prominent local olive oil entrepreneurs in Massarosa (Lucca), Italy. In 2014–2015, Bright Food (Group) Co., Ltd., a major state-owned food and beverage conglomerate headquartered in Shanghai, China, acquired a majority controlling stake in Salov S.p.A.

Today, Filippo Berio products distributed in the United Kingdom are managed by Filippo Berio UK Ltd, a subsidiary of Salov S.p.A., with blending, bottling, and production primarily centered at Salov's facilities in Italy utilizing olive oils sourced across the Mediterranean region.
