Stove Top Stuffing Mix

Stove Top is a widely recognized brand of quick-cooking stuffing mix, well-known across North American households, especially during holiday meals and quick weeknight dinners.

The product was invented by home economist Ruth Siems and introduced in 1972 by General Foods. Unlike traditional stuffing that requires roasting inside poultry or long baking in an oven, Stove Top was formulated to cook rapidly on the stovetop in just minutes using bread crumbs cut to specific dimensions paired with dehydrated seasonings.

Following corporate mergers, General Foods became part of Kraft Foods, which subsequently merged into The Kraft Heinz Company. Today, Stove Top is manufactured and distributed across Canada under Kraft Heinz Canada, maintaining its place as a pantry staple.
