Decléor Skincare

Decléor is a prestigious French aromatherapy and essential oil skincare brand established in 1974 by beautician Solange Dessimoulie and aromatherapist Caroline Colliard under the original name Cléor. Renowned for incorporating natural plant botanicals and essential oils into professional spa routines and home facial treatments, the brand was later rebranded as Decléor and earned global acclaim across salons, luxury spas, and department stores.

Originally built as an independent French cosmetics pioneer, Decléor was acquired by the Shiseido Group in 2000 before being sold to French multinational beauty conglomerate L'Oréal in 2014. Under L'Oréal's Professional Products Division, Decléor continued manufacturing its formulations primarily in France.

In late 2023, L'Oréal decided to discontinue commercial operations and cease production for the Decléor brand globally. Remaining inventory and classic product lines continue to be distributed and sold across various United Kingdom cosmetic retailers and salon stockists until supplies are exhausted under L'Oréal UK.
