Originally derived from the famed natural mineral waters of San Pellegrino Terme in the province of Bergamo, Lombardy, Italy, the beverage combines carbonated mineral water with real Italian fruit juices.

Manufacturing and Global Distribution

To preserve its heritage and authenticity, Sanpellegrino sparkling fruit beverages are predominantly produced and bottled in Italy using real Italian citrus juices before being exported worldwide, including widespread distribution across supermarkets in the United Kingdom.

Ownership Structure

In 1997–1998, Sanpellegrino S.p.A. was acquired by the Swiss multinational food and drink conglomerate Nestlé S.A. It operates under Nestlé Waters, the dedicated bottled water and beverage division of the global corporation based in Vevey, Switzerland.
