Constanze Mozartkugeln

Constanze Mozart-Kugeln are premium marzipan and praline confections produced by the renowned traditional German confectionery manufacturer Paul Reber GmbH & Co. KG, based in Bad Reichenhall, Bavaria. Named in honor of Constanze Mozart (née Weber), the wife of composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, these confections feature a filling of pistachio marzipan, hazelnut nougat, and a delicate milk chocolate coating, distinguishing them from the classic dark chocolate-coated Mozartkugeln.

The Reber company traces its origins back to 1865 when master confectioner Peter Reber opened a confectionery café in Munich, later relocating the family business to Bad Reichenhall in 1938. Today, Reber is recognized globally as one of the largest and most prestigious producers of authentic Mozart confections, adhering to strict Bavarian quality standards.

Paul Reber GmbH & Co. KG remains an independent, family-owned German enterprise, maintaining its primary production facilities in Bad Reichenhall. While Austrian brands like Mirabell (owned by Mondelēz International) also produce Mozartkugeln, Reber's Constanze line represents a quintessential German specialty chocolate brand.
