Ederra Crianza Rioja wine

Ederra is a classic Rioja wine label produced by Bodegas Bilbaínas, one of the oldest and most prestigious wineries located in Haro, La Rioja, Spain. The winery was originally founded in 1901 by a group of Basque businessmen from Bilbao who took over the historic facilities established in 1859 by the French firm Savignon Frères.

Ederra is produced and bottled in Haro (La Rioja Alta), Spain, utilizing predominantly Tempranillo grapes blended with Garnacha, following strict Rioja Denominación de Origen Calificada (D.O.Ca.) aging and production standards.

In 1997, Bodegas Bilbaínas was acquired by Raventós Codorníu (Codorníu Group), Spain's oldest family enterprise and a leading wine and cava producer. Today, the majority owner of Raventós Codorníu is the American global alternative investment firm The Carlyle Group, which acquired a controlling majority stake in the group in 2018.
