Mammut Sertig II / III Low GTX is a lightweight, multifunctional hiking shoe equipped with a waterproof GORE-TEX membrane, designed for fast hiking, trail walking, and versatile outdoor activities.

The Mammut brand was founded in 1862 by Kaspar Tanner in Dintikon, Switzerland, starting out as a traditional rope-making workshop before developing into a world-renowned mountaineering, climbing, and outdoor sports equipment brand. Throughout the 20th and early 21st century, Mammut expanded into technical outdoor apparel, climbing gear, and footwear.

Today, Mammut Sports Group AG is headquartered in Seon, Switzerland. In 2021, the brand was acquired by Telemos Capital, a European private equity investment firm headquartered in London, United Kingdom, which serves as the ultimate owner. While Mammut maintains its design, engineering, and testing heritage in Switzerland and Europe, its technical footwear lines, including the Sertig series, are manufactured through specialized footwear manufacturing partners primarily in Vietnam.
