The Griffin iTrip is a legendary piece of consumer electronics history, specifically designed during the peak of the iPod era. Created by Griffin Technology, a company founded in Nashville, Tennessee, the iTrip allowed users to broadcast music from their portable media players to their car or home FM radios wirelessly.

While the brand originated in the United States, the physical manufacturing of these units was primarily handled in China to take advantage of large-scale electronics production facilities. In 2016, the Griffin Technology brand was acquired by Incipio Group, which later rebranded as Vinci Brands. This ownership change consolidated several accessory brands under one corporate umbrella to streamline distribution and product development in the mobile accessory market.
