Naketano clothing

Naketano was a German fashion label founded in 2005 by Sascha Peljhan and Jozo Lonac in Essen. The brand became widely recognized across Europe for its unique streetwear aesthetic, characterized by oversized hoodies, high collars, and distinctive faux-leather patches. A notable aspect of the brand's identity was its use of provocative and unconventional names for its various clothing items.

In early 2018, Naketano made the surprising announcement that it would cease all operations and stop delivery of its products by the end of that year, despite being at the peak of its commercial success. The founders cited personal reasons for the closure rather than financial difficulties. Consequently, the brand is no longer in active production, although its products remain popular in the secondary resale market. During its operation, manufacturing was outsourced to various international locations typical of the textile industry, including Turkey and East Asia.
