Historically part of the Beecham Group, the brand transitioned through several corporate mergers, eventually becoming a core asset of GlaxoSmithKline (GSK). In July 2022, GSK spun off its consumer healthcare business to create Haleon, a dedicated consumer health company. Today, Macleans is owned and managed by Haleon, which is headquartered in Weybridge, United Kingdom. While the brand has deep British roots, its manufacturing is distributed across multiple global facilities to serve various international markets.
