In terms of ownership, Artemi was acquired in 2005 by the Arehucas Group (Destilerías Arehucas), another major Canarian rum producer. This merger consolidated the market for Canarian rum. As of 2024 and looking toward 2026, the brand remains under the umbrella of Grupo Arehucas, which is one of the most significant spirits manufacturers in the region, focusing on exporting the unique flavors of Gran Canaria to the rest of the world.
