Rügen Fisch is a prominent German brand specializing in canned fish products, with deep historical roots on the island of Rügen. The Fischerfrühstück (Fisherman's Breakfast) features smoked mackerel fillets in a spicy tomato cream sauce, a classic staple of Northern German seafood cuisine.

Originally founded in Sassnitz, Germany, the company underwent significant expansion and modernization over the decades. In 2016, the Thai Union Group, a global leader in the seafood industry, acquired a majority stake in Rügen Fisch AG. By 2022, Thai Union completed the full acquisition, making it the ultimate owner. Despite this international ownership, the brand maintains its production facilities in Germany and continues to be marketed as a traditional German brand.
